402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to co�structing or repair of any water of se�wer line connecting the exis#ing municlpai system and a�ry house or bui{ding for which the
appfication is made,the awner or contracCor shall be required to obtain a permit for sucfi connection,and shall pay a perm�C fee as provPded irt
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection fias been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shalf be ootified. It shall be unlawful to cover
any connecting line unti{an inspection has been made and such connection a�d the work incident thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitable connedion.
402.�6 REPAIRS AAiD MAINTENAPICE TO CONNECTION
After the initial connectio�has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the properly line or a water service iead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicant,owner,ur occuparit or user a�f such premises shaN be liable fior ail repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from ihe main to the premises. Ff the property owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be perFormed by the City,the property owner shall be charged foc the costs of the maimenance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative policy. It sfialf be the responsibiiFty of the appijcaM,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris ctearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wil!ensure that it remaims above the finished
