402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting Lhe existing municipat system and arry house or buitding for which the
application is made,the owner or corstractor shaH be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shat)pay a permit fee as proyided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmer�t shall be notified. it shail be unlawfut to cover
any connectin�line unti!an inspection has been made and wcfi connection and the work incident thereto has been approved by the Ciry as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAINTEPIANCE TO COMNECTION
After the initial connection has been made to the water service curb stop bcx ar the sewer lead at the property line or a water seroice lead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicant,owner,or occupant or user af such premises shall be liable for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary#or connection of the premises from the main to the premises. Ifi#he property owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the City,#he praperty owner shall be charged for the cosrts of the mair�tenartce and/o�
repairs,inciuding necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by are administrative po{iry. It shalf be tfie responsibitity af the applicant,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main induding debris dearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at wch height as wilt ensure that it remains above the finished
