Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line wnnecting the existing municipa!system and arty house or buitding for which the
application is made,the owner or contractor shalt be required to abtain a permit for such aonnection,and shafl pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmesrt shal{be notified. it shall be unlawful to cover
arry conneding line urrtil an inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident t6ereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitable connection.
4Q2.06 REPAIEiS AMD MAINTEAfAWCE Tp COPiNECTfON
After the initiat connecCion has been made to the water senrice cur6 stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water senrice tead has
been extended Lo the property line for connection,the applicant,owner,or occuparrt or user of such premises shall be itabie for ait repain
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. ff the property owner
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shall be charged for the costs of the mainitenartce and/or
repairs.including necessary street repairs at a rate set annua{ly by an administrative poliry. it shafl be the responsibllity of the applicant,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris dea�ng or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operebili#y and at such height as will ensure that it remairts above the finished
