402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer 4ine connecting the existing municipa!system and arry house or building for which the
application is made,the owrter or corrtrador shall be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and sha{I pay a perm�t fee as pravlded in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer DepartmerrC shall be notified It shail be untawful io cover
any connecting line urrtil an inspection has been made and such connection and the urork incidem thereto has been approved by the Crty as a
proper end suitable connection.
402.06 REPA(RS AIYD MAIPiTENANCE TO COPIPIECTION
After the initia!connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the properly lPne or a water service tead has
6een 2xtended to the property line for sonnection,the app(icarrt,owner,or occupant or user of such premises shall be tiable for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection vf the premises from the main to the premises. tf the property owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be perfortned by the City,the property oarner shall be charged for the costs ot tNe maintenance and/vr
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an adminisCrative policy. It shall be the respansibiliiy of the applicarrt,
owner,occuparrt or user to perForm standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris dearir�g o�
root cutting end to mairrtain the�water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the�nished
