CHAPTER 402.WATER,STORM WATER AND SANITARY SEWER

402.5 PERMIT FEE
Priar to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipal system and arry hcuse or buiWing for which the
application is made,the owner or contractor shati i�e required to obtain a permit for such wnaection,and shatl pay a perrnit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmem sfiali be noti�ed. It shall be unlawful to rnver
any connecting line u�til an inspection has heen made and sucfi connection and the woric incident Chereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AMD MAIN'i'ENANCE TO CONNECTION
After the initiai connectio�has been made to the water service curb stop 6ox or the sewer tead at the property line or a water seroice fead has
been extended to fihe property line for connection,the applicaat,owner,or occuparrt or user of such premises shail be iiabie for all repairs
required to any water li�e and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises, tf the property owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the C'rty,the property owner shail be charged for the costs of the maintenance and/or
repairs.including necessary street repairs at a rate set annualiy by an admioistrative policy. It shall be the responsibility of the applicant,
owaer,occupant or user to perform standard maintenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris clearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water senrice curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
