402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior fio constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipa[system and any house or buiiding for which the
appiicafiion is+nade,the owner or comractor shall be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and sha{I pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Cade. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Depardneet shall be notified. {t shalf be unlawful to cnver
any connecting line unti{an inspection has been made and such connection a�d the work incident�ereto has been approved br the City as a
�roper and suitab4e cannection.

After the initial conaectian has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water service tead has
been 2xCended#o Che property line for tonnection,the applicant,awner,or occuparrC or user of suth premises shal{be liabfe for all repairs
required to a�y water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. tEthe property owner
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shaU be charged fior the casts aE the maimenance and/or
repairs,inctuding necessary street repairs at a rate set annual(y by an administrative policy. it s6ali be the responsibtltty af the app{iprrt,
owner,occupant or user to pecform standard mairrtenance of the sewer sesvice line from the premises to the main includicig debris dearing or
root cutting and to maintain the riva#er service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wiii ensure that it remains abcrve the finished
