402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing ar repair oF arry water of sewer line connecting the existing municipai system and arry house or building for whid�the
appiication is made,the owner ar comractor shalf be required to obtain a permit for such connection.and sha((pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter il of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmeirt shalt be notified. It shail be untawful to aove�
any co�necti�g line until an inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approved fry#fre City as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAtRS AND MAINTENANCE TO COPtNECT{04V
Affier the initiai connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a wrater seniice lead has
been extended to fihe property line for connection,the applicarit,owne�,or occuparrt or user o�F such premises shall be tiable for a(t repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. tf the property owrrer
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be performed f�y the C'rty,the property owner shall be charged for fihe costs of the maintenance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative policy. It shall be the responsibility of#he applicarit,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance Df the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris clearing or
root cutting and to maintain the wates service curb stop 6ox for operabil'�ty and at such height as wiil ensure Chat it remains above the finished
