402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior#o cortstructing or repaFr of any water of sewer iine connecting the existing municipa(system and arry house or buitding for which the
appiication is made,the owner or corrtractar shall be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and sha(f pay a permit fee as providecl in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has Fieen made,the Water and Sewer Department shall be notified. It shali be unlawful to cover
any connecting line urrtil an inspection has 6een made and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approved by the C'rty as a
. proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO COMNECTION
After the initiai connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water senrfce tead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicarrt,owner,or occupar�t ar user of such premises shall be liabie for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for conneetion of the premises from the main to the premises. tf the pro�rty oarner
requests mai�tenance service or repairs be performed by the�ty,the property owner shali be charged for the costs of the mairitenance and/or
, repairs,inctuding necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrdtive poliry. It shall be the responsibility of the applicant,
-. owner,occuparrt or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from#he premises to the main inciuding rlebris dearing o�
roo#cutting and to rnairrtain the rnrater service curb stop box for operability and et such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
