402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing muniapal system and arry house or building for which the
appiication is made,the owner or cor+tractor shall be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shall pay a permit fee as provided ie
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shali be notified. tt shail be unlawful to cover
arry connecting line untii an irtspection has been made and such connection and the work inaderrt thereto has been approved by the C�y as a
proper and suitabte connection.
�02.06 REPAIRS AND MAINTEIYANCE TO CONNECTION
After the initial connection has been made to the water senrice curb stop 6ox or the sewer lead at the property iine or a water service Iead 6as
been extended to fihe property line for connection,the applicarrt,owner,or accuparrt or user of such premises shaft be tial�e for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. if the property owner
requests maintenance senrice or repairs be performed by the City,the proper#y owner shaii be charged for#he costs of the maintenance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrafiive poliry, it shali be�e responsibiliiy of the applicarit,
owner,occupar�t or user to perform standard mair�tenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris clear�ng or
root cutting and to mairrtain khe water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wili ensure that it remains above the finished
