replace the water meter. 1 understa�d that the property owner is tiable for the water line trom the main to the premise and ail irrterior
piumbing. (Per City code 402.06) t also hold the City ofi Fridley and/its employees harmtess for any damages that may occur while doing this
operation. This to include,but not timited to va{ves,piping,wails,fioors or the curb stop boz and service line. in undecstand 1 am also required
to abtain a permit prior to any woric,if necessary.

402.5 PERMtT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipal system and arry house or butiding fok which the
applicatio�is made,the owner or cornractor shaii be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shaN pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connectivn has been made,the Water and Sewer DepartmeM shaN be notif'ied. It shall be Unlawful to corer
any connecting line until an inspection has been made and such connettion and the work incide�tt thereto has been approved b�the City as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO CONNECTION I�

After the initial connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water s��rice Iead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the appllpnt,owner,or occupant or user of such premises shaN be IiaWe for'�il repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connecCion of the premises from the main to the premises. !f the prapetty owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shaff be charged for the costs of the main�enance and/or
repairs,includ'+ng necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative aolicy. it shall be the responsibi{ity of the a�rplicaM,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard maintenance af the sewer service line from the premises to the main inciuding debtis deaNng or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop baK for operability and at such height as wiN ensure that it remains above the finished
grade of the land or property. (Ref 638,1156,1191) ,
