Prior to constructing or repair ot arry water of sewer tine connecting the ex�sting muniapal system and arry house or buildir�for which the
application is made,fihe owner or contractor shall be required to obtairt a permit for such connection,and shaN pay a permit fee as p�ovi�d in•
Chapter 11 of this Code. Afte�such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Department shaN be nat�f'ied. t!s6ai1 be untawful to cover
arty connecting line ur�til an inspection has been made and such connection and the woric incideM thereto has been approvect py the C'tty as a

After the initial connectivn has been made to the water senrice curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property iine or a water service lead E�as
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicaM,owner,or accupaM or user af such premises shalt be liat�e for a11 repairs
required to any water lirte and sewer lirres necessary for connestion of the premises from the main to the premises. !f the property�rner
requests mair►tenance senrice or repairs be perFormed by the Gty,the properky owner sha!(be r�arged for the costs af the mairrtertarnae andJor
repairs,induding necessary street repairs at a rate set annualty by an adminisrtrative poliry. it shafl be the responsibii'rty of the appliprrt„
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service lirte from the premises to the main induding debris dearing or
