Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the euisting muniapat system and arry hause or buildir�for which the
applicafiion is made,the owner or cor�tractor shaU be required to obtain a permit for such cosmectian,and sE�a41 pay a pertnitfee as proroided i�r
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shali be notified. tt shali be untawful to cove
any connecting Gne untii an inspection has been made and such connection and the wo�tc inaderrt thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitable connection.
�02.06 REP�IRS AND MAtWTEItlpp�CE TO CONNECTION
After the initial connectiort has been mede to the water service curb step box or the sewer lead at the propetty iine or a water ser�r�Iead has
been extended#o the property line for connection,the appiicarrt,owner,or occuparrt or user of sush premises shali be liable for ail repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines�ecessary for connection of the premises from the main to th¢premises. tf the propeny rnyner
requests mair�tenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shall be charged for the costs of the mairrtenance and(oc
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a+~ate set annualty by art administrative policy. It shatl be the responsbitity of the applicarit,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard maimenance of#he sewer service line from the premises to the main inciudirig depris deari�or
root cutting and to mairrtain the water service curb stop box for operabil'rty and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the fin�hed
