402.5 PERMtT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing munidpat system and arry house or buildi�for which the
application is made,the owner or contractor shalt be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and sf�ali pay a permii fee as provided irr
Chapter 11 of this Code. After wch connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt sfiali be natified. tt shail be untawful to cover
any connecting line until an inspedion has been made and such connection and the work inaderrt thereto has been appro�d by the C'ity as a
proper and suitabte connection.
AA2.06 REPAIRS AND MAfPITE1YANCE TO COMTIECTION
After the initial connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property iine or a water service lead has
bee�extended to the property line for connection,fihe appiicarrt,owner,or accuparrt or user of wch premi�s shall be liabie fo�a!1 repairs
required fio any wa#er line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the prem'ises. If the property owner
requests mairrtenance seroice or repairs be performed by the C'rty,the property owner shail be charged for the�of the mairrtenance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative poliry. It shall be the responsbil'rty of the applicarrt,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard maintenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main includng debris dearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wili ensure that it remains above the finished
