402.5 PERMIT FEE II
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing muniapat system and arry house or butldir�g for whid�the I'�
epplication is made,the owner or corrtractor shall be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shall pay a permit fee as provided in• �',
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt sfiall be natified. it shaN be uniawful to cover,
any connecting line until an inspection has been made and such connection and the work inaderrt thereto has been appr�ed by the City as a
proper and suitabie connection. '

402.06 REPAIRS AIYD MAINTENANCE TQ CONNECTION ��
After the initial connectiert has been made to the water senrice curb stop box or the sewer lead at fihe property line or a water service►ead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicarrt,owner,or occuparrt or user of such premises shaii be Ifabie for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for conrtection of the premises from the main fio the premises. If the property owner
reques#s mairrtenance senrice or repairs be pe�Formed by the City,the property owner shail be charged for the costs of the mairrtenan�andJor
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set anoualty by an administrative policy. It sbali be the responsibility of the applicarrt,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to fihe main including debris clearfng or
root ceatting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
grade of xhe land or property. (Ref 638,1156,1191)
