402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water ofi sewer line connecting the existing muniapaf system and arty house os buiiding for which the
application is made,the awner or contractor shall be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shall pay a permit fee as provided iR
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Searer Department shall be not�fied. it shail be untawfui to cover
any connecting line until an irispection has been made and such connection and the worlc inaderrt thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitabte connection.
402.05 REPAIRS AND MAIAiTEAIAMCE TO COWNECTION
After the initiat connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a watsr serviae lead has
been extended to the property fine for connection,th�appiicarrt,owner,or occupant or user of such premises shatl be Itabie for ell repairs
required#o any water line and sewer lines necessary for con�ection of the premises from the main to the premises. If the property owner
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be perFormed by the Crty,the property owner shall be charged for#he costs of the mairrterrance and/or
repairs,inciuding necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative policy. R shatl be the responsbility of the applicarrt,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard maintenance af the sewer service line from the premises to fihe main dnciuding debris dearing or
root tutting and tv maintain#he water service curb sfiop box for operabil'rty and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
