402.5 PERMIT fEE .
Prior to co�structing or repair of any water of sewer line cannecting the existing municipal system and arry house or buiiding for whid�the
application is made,the owner or coertractor shall be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shail pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Department shali be notified. It shall be unlawfuf to cover
any con�ecCing line unti{an inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approved by the Gty as a
proper and witable connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO CONNECTIOW
After the initial connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the propertY line or a water senrice(ead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicant,awner,or occupant or user of such premises shail be liable for ali repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. If the property owne�
requests maintenance service or repairs he performed by the City,the properly awner shall be charged for the costs of the mairrtenance and/or
repairs,inciuding necessary street repaiss at a rate set annualiy by an administrative poliry. It shali be the responsibility of the applicaM.

roat cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operabii'rty and at such height as wiN ensure that it remains above the finished
