402.5 PERMIT FEE
P�ior to construccin�or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipal system and arry house or buitding for which the
application is made,the owner or corrtractor shall be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shatl pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shail be rtotified. tt shall be unlawfui to cover
any connecting line urttit an inspection has been made and such cannection and the work incident thereto has been approved by ihe Clty as a
proper and suita6le connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AMD MAINTEPIANCE TO COPIPIECTION
After the initia(connectiort has been made to the water service curb stop IwK or the sewer(ead at the property line or a water service lead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the appticarrt,owner,or occuparit or user of such premises shall be fiable for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer tines necessary#or connection of the p�emises from the main to the premises, tF the property oarner
requests mairrtenance service ar repairs be gerformed by the City,the property owner shatl be charged for the costs ofi the mairrtenance and/ar
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrafive poliry. It shaii be the responsibility of the applicar�t,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer senrice line from the premises to the main iaduding debris dearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wiil ensure that it remains above the finished
grade af fihe tand or property. (Ref 638,1156,11910
