CHAP7ER 402.WATER,STORM WATER AND SANITARY SEWER

402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing munkipa!system and any house or buiiding for which the
appiication is made,the owner or contractor shalt be required to obtain a permit for such connectton,and shall pay a permit fee as provided+n
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Seuver Departmerrt shalt be notified. It shail be unlawful to cover
arry connecting line until an inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAIPITENAPICE TO CONhECT10N
After the initiai connection has been made to the water service curb stop bax or the sewer lead at the property line ar a water�rvice Iead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicant,owner,or occupa�or user of such premises sha{I be liable for aN repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. If the property owner
requests mainte�ance senrice or repairs be perfarmed by the Cityr,the property owner shall be charged for the c�ts of the maintenance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annuatly by an administrative poliry. It shall be the responsibility of the applicant,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer senrice line from the premises to the maio including debris clearing or
root cutting and to mairrtain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wili ensure that it remains above the finished
