402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing a�repair af any water aE'sewer iine connecting the existing municipat system and arry house ar buiiding for which the I
application is made,the owner or contractor shalt be required to obtain a permit fo�such co�nection,and shatl pay a permit fee as provide�l in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shali be notified. ft shall be unlawFul to aover
any connecting tine urrtil an inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident ihereto has been approved by the C'ny as a
proper end suitable connectiort.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAINTEP{qpICE TO COMNECTION
After the initiat connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the properly line or a water senrice iead has
been extended to the property Iine for connection,the applicar�t,owner,or occuparit or user of such premises shall be liable for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. If the property oarner
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shalf be charged for the costs of the maiMenartce and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative policy. It shali be the responsibility of the applicartt,
owner,occupant or user to perForm standard mairrtenance of the sewer service iine from the premises to the main including debris dearing or
root cutting and to mairrtain the rerater service curb stop box for operabiiity and at such height as wiN ensure that it remains above the finished
