402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water af sewer iine connecting#he existi�g municipal system and any house or buPlding for which the
appiication is made,tfie owner or corrtractor shai)be required to abtain a permit#or such connection,and shall pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of ehis Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shail be notified. tt sha41 be un4awfvl to cover
any connecting line untiJ an inspection has been made and such connection and the wurtc incident thereto has ts�en approved by the Crty as a
proper and suitabie connection.
402A6 REPAIRS AIYD MAIN7EP1APfCE TO COPiNECTION
After the initial conneckion has been made to the wa#e�service curb stap bax or the sewer leat!at the property line or a water senrice tead has
been 2xtended to the property line for tonnectioa,the applicant,awner,or occupant ar user of such premises shall be liable for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary#or connection of tfie premises from the main to the premises. ff the property owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be perEormed by the City,the prvperty owner shall be charged for the costs of the maintenartce and/a�
repairs,inciuding necessary street repairs at a rate set annualty!ry an administrative poliry. It shali be the responsibility of the applicant,
owner,occupant or user ta perform standard mairnenance of the sewer seroice Iine from the premises to the main including debris clearing or
root cutting and to itsaintain the ruater service curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remair�s above the Fnished
