CHAPTER 402.WATER,STORM WATER AND SANITARY SEWER

402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connectir�g the existing municipal system and any house or buildtng for whkh the
application is made,the owner or corrtractor shall be requlred to obtain a permit for wch connection,and shall pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After wch connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmer�t shall be notified. It shail be uniawFul to cove�
any connecting line until an inspection has been made and such connection and the work inciderrt thereto has been approved by the C'ity as a
proper and suitable con�ection.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAIN7EIYMICE TO COMNECTION
After the initial connection has been made to the water service wrb stop box or the sewer lead at the property R�e or a water servke lead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicarrt,owner,or accupa�rt or user of sud�premises shall be liable for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premtses. ff the property owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shafl be charged for the costs of the mairrtenance and/or
repairs,including rtecessary street repairs at a rate set annuaNy by an administrative poliry. R shal!be the responsibility af the applicarrt,
owner,occuparn or user to perform standard mairrtenance af the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris dearing a
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the flnished
