402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of arry wate�of sewer line conneccing the existing municipal system and arry house or building for arhich the
application is made,the owner or contractor shatf be required to obtain a permit for wch connection,and shall pay a permit fee as provided in�
Chapter 11 of this Code. After sucfi co�nection has been made,the Water and Sewer DepartmeM shatt be not�ed. {t shail lae un(awful to cover
any con�ecting fine untif an inspection has been made and such cannection and the work inaderrt thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and witable connection.
402.06 REPAiRS AND MAINTENANCE TO CONNECTION
After the initiaf co�nection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer(ead at the property line or a water sen�ce(ead has
been extended to the property line for cannedion,the app{ica�rt,owner,or occupaM or user of such premises shail be!'wble for ali repain
required to arry water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. ff the properiy awnEr
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shali be charged for the costs aF the maiotenance and/or
repairs,induding necessary street repairs at a rate set annuaily by an administrative poliry. It shall be the responsibility of the appiirarrt,
owner,occupant or user to perEorm standard maintenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main includi�debris deartng or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operabifity aad at such height as wiil ensure tfiat it remains abmre the finished
