Re: Condominium Conversion Inspection
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Aspenson:
We are in the process of reviewing your application for converting the rental
units to condominium owner occupied units at 6489, 6491 , 6493, and 6495 River-
view Terrace, and 6500, 6510, and 6520 2nd Street N.E.
Part of our procedure is to inspect each unit of the structures, therefore,
would you please make the necessary arrangements to set up a time that we could
walk through the units with you.
I will be on vacation February 9th through February 16th, so please avoid
those dates.
We will wait for your response and will continue to process your application
after we have maAe the necessary on-site inspections.

Re: Repair & Maintenance of the Proposed Condominium Conversion Property
Located at 6510 - 2nd Street N.E., Fridley, MN
Dear Mr. Aspenson:
It was confirmed by a routine on-site inspection on January 26, 1982, for a
proposed condominium conversion license, that the above listed property was
being maintained in violation of Chapter 220, Residential Maintenance Code,
of the Fridley City Code.
Although the general condition of the property was good, the inspection on
the above date found the following deficiency which must be corrected. Any
repairs or improvements must be completed in a workmanship like manner.
EXTERIOR
No deficiencies were noted during this inspection.
r COMMON AREAS
• _) The under stairs storage area must be 1 hour fire rated. This can be
accomplished by lining the area with 5/8 inch gypsum board.
�f LAUNDRY/FURNACE AREA
No deficiencies were noted during this inspection.
UI4IT INSPECTION
No deficiencies were noted during this inspection.
A reinspection will be conducted on or about February 22, 1982 to determine
compliance. We are confident in your cooperation on this matter and if
any questions or problems arise, please feel free to call on me at 571-3450.
Failure to abate this violation may result in this matter being turned over
to the City Prosecutor for his legal consideration.
