07/1996 Senior News I Fridley Senior News 6085 7th Street NE, Fridley MN 55432 Senior Summer Camp Monday, August 19 - Thursday, August 22 We are very excited about this new program offering. In August, we will sponsor a Senior Camp at Many Point Boy Scout Camp. There will be plenty of water activities (fishing, canoeing, swimming, pontooning) as well as hiking, evening campfires with stories, skits and songs; time to just relax with friends playing cards or conversing or even solitude to catch up on your reading or other hobbies. If there is enough interest, we will even explore the region on a day trip. As it is planned now, breakfast and lunch will be on your own in your cabin with a community meal each evening in the Family Lodge. With everyone being responsible for at least one evening of Kitchen Duty. Cabins will be assigned to couples or groups of friends. You will need to supply your own bedding (sleeping bags, recommended) as well as personal ML items, flashlight, etc. We will supply a recommended packing list. The modern bathrooms are separate from the cabins but within easy walking distance. Transportation will be provided by a chartered Motor- coach departing Monday morning (8:OOam) and re- turning Thursday afternoon (S:OOpm). Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy the great Minnesota Outdoors! Cost: $75.00 includes round trip motorcoach, 3 evening meals and lodging. (Day trip transportation will be additional.) . ................... ... t1SIC •> 49er Day Tournament Results for 500 rhh "e 4nc!
