A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING REAPPROPRIATION FOR
CERTAIN SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING
DECEMBER 31, 2018
WHEREAS, the City Charter (Charter) established certain processes for the preparation, passage,
enforcement and alternation to the annual budget; and
WHEREAS, Section 7.07 of the Charter authorizes the City Council (Council) to increase
expenditures under two circumstances: 1) when actual revenues exceed estimated revenues; and
2) by identifying offsetting decreases in other areas of the budget; and
WHEREAS, for the Fiscal Year ending December 31, 2018, staff identified the Springbrook
Nature Center Fund requiring reappropriation subject to the aforementioned section of the Charter;
and
WHEREAS, the Springbrook Nature Center Fund receipted sufficient revenues to support
additional expenditures beyond those fixed in the 2018 budget resolutions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby
approves and authorizes the following amendments to the 2018 Budget.
