A RESOLUTION APPROVING GIFTS, DONATIONS AND SPONSORSHIPS
FOR THE CITY OF FRIDLEY
WHEREAS, throughout the year the City of Fridley (City) receives a multitude of gifts and
donations; and
WHEREAS, the City is sincerely grateful for the support it receives from an array of organizations
and individuals; and,
WHEREAS, without this support, the continuation of different events or programs would be
difficult to sustain; and
WHEREAS, the attached schedule lists all the donations and gifts received by various City
departments from June 25, 2019 and July 22, 2019; and
WHEREAS, all the items listed on the attached schedule are required to be accepted by the City
Council by a two—thirds majority vote; and
WHEREAS, in addition, all items have been determined to be donated free of any quid—pro—quo
expectation by the donor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby
approves the Gifts, Donations and Sponsorships listed on Schedule No. 1.
