Scott ... Although I find this difficult to at this time..I offer my resignation from the Fridley City Council as
of September 15, 2019. Jane and I have purchased a single level patio home in Andover just a mile or so
from three of our kids. I had a couple of spills in the driveway this past winter and the kids are
concerned and I understand where they are coming from. I have had the pleasure of serving the people
of Fridley for 32 years ... 1976-85 and from 1996 to the present time. I have always appreciated your
support, the other council members, the city manager and the city staff -it was my pleasure. As Bob
Hope used to say at the conclusion of each of his programs "Thanks for the memories!!!"...Bob Barnette,
Fridley Councilman at Large
