Fridley, MN 55432 Re: Non-Conforming Expansion Permit, #21-01 Dear Mr. and Mrs. Estlund: This letter serves as a notice that your application for a Non-Conforming Expansion Permit, NCEP #21-01 has been approved for your property at 1631 66 ½ Avenue N.E. This permit recognizes that the existing house is setback 6.3 ft. from the side yard property line, as opposed to the required 10 ft. Recognizing this non-conforming setback through this permit allows you to construct an addition to your existing house through the issuance of a building permit, instead of requiring the setback deficiency to be recognized through a variance process. A portion of Stinson Boulevard was approved to be vacated through Resolution No. 2021-02 by the City Council on January 4, 2021, which allows the proposed addition on the east side of the house to comply with setback requirements.
