MINUTES CALL TO ORDER Mayor Lund called the City Council Meeting of April 11, 2022, to order at 7:26 p.m. PRESENT Mayor Scott Lund Councilmember Dave Ostwald Councilmember Tom Tillberry Councilmember Stephen Eggert Councilmember Ann Bolkcom Walter Wysopal, City Manager Sarah Sonsalla, City Attorney PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE PROCLAMATIONS/PRESENTATIONS APPROVAL OF PROPOSED CONSENT AGENDA Motion made by Councilmember Bolkcom to adopt the proposed Consent Agenda. Seconded by Councilmember Tillberry. UPON A VOICE VOTE, ALL VOTING AYE, MAYOR LUND DECLARED THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Approve the Minutes from the City Council Meeting of March 28, 2022. 2. Receive the Minutes from the City Council Conference Meeting of March 28, 2022. 3. Receive the Minutes from the Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting of March 7, 2022. NEW BUSINESS 4. Resolution No. 2022-32, Designating Precincts and Polling Locations for the 2022 Election Year. 5. Resolution No 2022-33, Updating City Appointments and Designations. City Council Meeting 4/11/2022 Minutes Page 2 6. Ordinance No. 1400, Amending the Fridley City Code Chapter 205, Zoning (Second Reading). 7. Ordinance No. 1402, Amending the Fridley City Code, Chapter 205.07, One Family Dwelling District Regulations and Chapter 205.31, Overlay District 0-6, Pre-1955 Lots (Second Reading). CLAIMS 8. Resolution No. 2022-34 Approving Claims for the Period Ending April 7, 2022. ADOPTION OF REGULAR AGENDA Motion made by Councilmember Eggert to adopt the regular agenda. Seconded by Councilmember Ostwald. UPON A VOICE VOTE, ALL VOTING AYE, MAYOR LUND DECLARED THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. OPEN FORUM, VISITORS: Consideration of Items not on Agenda – 15 minutes. Abby Kosberg, North Suburban Center for the Arts, thanked the City for its help to get them into the new building. She reviewed the business hours and upcoming events. Boy Scouts were in attendance to receive a merit badge. INFORMAL STATUS REPORTS No comments. ADJOURN Motion made by Councilmember Bolkcom to adjourn. Seconded by Councilmember Ostwald.
