Resolution No. 2022-125
Submitting a List of Eligible Nominees to Anoka County for the Open Manager Position
on the Rice Creek Watershed District Board of Managers
Whereas, the City of Fridley (City) received notice of an opening on the Rice Creek Watershed
District (RCWD) Board of Managers; and
Whereas, the County of Anoka (County) notified the City it can submit a list of nominations to the
County Board of Commissioners per Minnesota Statute §103D.311; and
Whereas, the cities of Blaine, Centerville, Circle Pines, Columbia Heights, Fridley, Lino Lakes,
Lexington and Spring Lake Park wish to have representation on the RCWD; and
Whereas, the nominees are from Blaine, Circle Pines, Fridley and Lino Lakes; and
Whereas, the City of Fridley nominates Heidi Ferris of 75 Rice Creek Way N.E., Fridley, for the
Anoka County Board of Commissioners to consider; and
Whereas, the nominee shall be added to the jointly submitted list from only the cities of Blaine,
Centerville, Circle Pines, Columbia Heights, Fridley, Lino Lakes, Lexington and Spring Lake Park;
Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Fridley does hereby submit a
nominee to be included in a jointly submitted list of nominees for consideration by the Anoka
County Board of Commissioners.
