Approving Right-of-Way Easement and Temporary Construction Easement for the 53
Avenue Roundabout Safety Project with Target Corporation

Whereas, the construction of certain improvements identified as the 53 Avenue Roundabout
Safety Project No. ST2023-22 (Improvements) is deemed to be in the interest of the City of
Fridley (City) and the property owners affected thereby; and
Whereas, the City has received a Highway Safety Improvement Program grant of $730,800 for
the Improvements; and
Whereas, the City required additional property rights in order to construct and maintain the
Improvements as designed, including acquisition of a Right-of-Way Easement and a Temporary

Construction Easement for construction purposes from the property located at 755 53 Avenue
N.E., Fridley, MN (Anoka County Parcel No. 23-30-24-44-0008); and

Whereas, Target Corporation (Owner) of the property located at 755 53 Avenue N.E., Fridley,
MN, have agreed to grant the City Right-of-Way Easement and Temporary Construction
rd
Easement over a portion of the property at 755 53 Avenue N.E. as stated within the Right-of-
Way Easement and Temporary Construction Easement documents.
Now, therefore be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby approves the

Right-of-Way Easement and Temporary Construction Easement agreements for the 53 Avenue
Roundabout Safety Project with Target Corporation.
