2.2024 Drinking Water Quality Report
Jim Kosluchar, Director of Public Works, shared the results of the 2024 Drinking Water Quality Report
and provided information on issues relevant to the City’s Drinking Water Treatment System.

3. Energy Action Plan Updates
Ms. Workin shared that the City had done outreach on electric landscaping equipment.
4. Grant Updates
Ms. Workin shared that the City was supporting the Mississippi Branch in the development of a SHIP
grant for a seed library.
5. Outreach and Event updates
Ms. Workin shared that the Household Hazardous Waste Collection event was successful. 309 Fridley
households brought in materials. She also shared that the City was collecting books for a kid’s book
swap. Ms. Workin said that there would be a community planting event for the new pollinator area at
Community Park on September 24. She also reminded commissioners to share their feedback on the
community garden survey.
Other Items
6. Informal Status Reports
The Commissioners decided to cancel the September meeting and instead do a bike ride of new trails.
The bike ride will start at 6:00 p.m at the Fridley Civic Campus.

Motion by Commissioner Stoxen to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Commissioner Carter. The
Motion carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 8:28 p.m.
