Awarding Well Rehabilitation Project No. 26-448
Whereas, the City of Fridley (City) has eleven wells in regular service that source groundwater
from aquifers 199 to 870 feet deep to be treated and delivered to the existing public water
distribution system; and
Whereas, the City’s existing water system is part of the City’s essential infrastructure systems that
provide service to all in the community; and
Whereas, the Public Works Department has set a goal for maintenance and rehabilitation of this
system; and
Whereas, Well Rehabilitation Project No. 26-448 (Project) is identified in the City’s Capital
Investment Program and includes the rehabilitation or replacement of existing equipment at Well
Nos. 5, 8, 10 and 12; and
Whereas, on January 20, 2026 electronic bids were received and read aloud, a bid tabulation was
prepared and a lowest responsive bidder identified.
Now, therefore be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Fridley hereby receives bids
per the attached bid tabulation and awards the Well Rehabilitation Project No. 26-448 to the
lowest responsive bidder, Mineral Service Plus, LLC, in the amount of $240,819.60 which includes
a 5% contingency.
