Title: Met Council L32A Lift Station Project Update
Background
The Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES) division has been in progress with
plans for the new L32A Sanitary Sewer Lift Station which is planned to be constructed in the City
of Fridley (City) at the former Girl Scout property on East River Road. This lift station will replace
the existing lift station located on the Brooklyn Park side of the Mississippi River.
Met Council staff provided an informational update in December, and a number of questions
were raised. The attached presentation was prepared for that meeting. Met Council staff will
provide further information to the City Council on this project and will have available time for
discussion.
Recommendation
