I have performed structural calculations finding the framing to be adequate for gravity and uplift loads applied to the roof by the solar panels, including snow loads applied as point loads to the roof framing, where applicable. The attachments and railing are also adequate without reinforcement for the loads imposed when installed with the attachment spacing shown in the drawings. We recommend the attachments be staggered as shown in the drawings to avoid overloading the rafters.
