RE: Foundation Support Works wall reinforcing for 6801 Hickory St. NE, Fridley, MN
We have reviewed your proposed Geolock wall anchors (3 anchors) and certify that the
anchors will provide adequate support for the existing wall. The location of anchor at
foundation is 24" below grade (or below crack) and depth of earth anchors is 48" below
grade. The spacing of the anchors is shown on the layout, 3' from the corners and up to
6'-0" on center. We have reviewed your proposed PowerBrace wall anchor (7 PowerBrace)
and certify that the braces will provide adequate support for the existing wall. The spacing of
the anchors is shown on the layout, 3' from the corner and up to 6'-0" on center. Installation
of 2x blocking is required at each brace in the floor space (match existing Moist depth)for 3
foist spaces where foists are parallel to wall. The existing wall height is 7'-4" with
unbalanced grade height of 4'-0" at the PowerBraces and 5-0" with unbalanced grade
height of 3' at the garage/Geolock anchors. The soil type is clay or sandy clay. These
anchors will correct the issues due to lateral soil pressure on the basement and garage
walls. Special inspections are not required for this product.
