NE Fridley, MN To Whom It May Concern, The following references the Johnson Residence in Fridley, MN: 1. Existing roof framing_ Roofs 1,2,3,4: Pre-fabricated/engineered wood truss is 2x4 at 24"o.c. Based on structural analysis, this existing structure is capable of supporting all the loads indicated below for this photovoltaic proj ect. 2. Roof Loading: - 3psf dead load (solar modules plus mounting hardware) - 50psf ground snow load - 5.lpsf roof materials (I.lpsf 2x4, 1.5psf sheathing, 2.5psf asphalt shingles) - Exposure Category B, 129mph wind (3 sec.) This installation design will be in general conformance to the manufacturer's specifications, and complies with all applicable laws, codes, and ordinances, specifically the International Building Code/IBC 2020 and International Residential Code/IRC 2020 including all MN regulations and amendments. The spacing and fastening of the mounting brackets is to have a maximum of 48"o.c. span between mounting brackets, staggered, and secured using 5/16" diameter corrosive resistant steel lag bolts and a 2.5" embed. Snap N Rack Speedseal, deck attachments, or industry similar in lieu of L foot anchors installed per manufacturer specifications and recommendations. Thank you.
