Hi Tony,
This e-mail is in reference to permit#RB23-000441 regarding the installation of a basement egress window at
6241 Starlite Boulevard in Fridley. You inspected the work and requested photos of smoke detectors since we did
not meet code requirements at the time of your visit. We have subsequently installed smoke detectors in each of
the bedrooms on the main level and a smoke and carbon monoxide detector in the hallway within 10' of the
bedrooms. We purchased a smoke and carbon monoxide detector for the basement which will be hardwired in
the near future. The basement will remain open space, no bedroom is planned downstairs.
Please let me know if you need anything else. You are certainly welcome to see the units if you choose to do so.
