1. Update on Building Inspections Activity
Tony DeForge, Building Official and the Building Inspections Team presented on the operations
of the Buildings Division at the City of Fridley. They talked about commercial versus residential
permits.
2. Update on Northstar Commuter Rail Closure
Paul Bolin, Community Development Director, provided the City Council with information and an
update on the Northstar Rail closure.
3. Anoka County’s Safe County Initiative Update
Anthony Mendoza and Chris Beck from the Anoka County Sheriff’s Department provided
information on the Drone Assisted Response program being considered by the County.
