Subject: Approval of H-3 Liquid Storage Room
To Whom It May Concern,
The Fridley Fire Division has completed a review of the proposed H-3 Liquid Storage Room for the Heraeus Medevio facility located at 48 Northern Stacks Drive, Fridley, Minnesota.
Based on our review of the submitted Fire Protection Engineering (FPE) analysis and supporting documentation dated 06-16-2026 by Linda French, the Fridley Fire Division finds that the
proposed design adequately addresses the applicable fire and life safety requirements for the storage of flammable and combustible liquids. Accordingly, the Fridley Fire Division approves
the proposed H-3 Liquid Storage Room as submitted.
This approval is based on the engineering analysis provided for review. Any revisions or modifications to the approved design shall be submitted to the Fridley Fire Division for review
and approval prior to implementation.
Please note that this approval does not constitute authorization to begin construction or occupy the space. The project remains subject to all applicable permitting, plan review, inspections,
and approvals required by the City of Fridley, including but not limited to building, fire, mechanical, electrical, and other applicable code requirements. Final approval will be contingent
upon successful completion of all required inspections and verification that the installation conforms to the approved plans and applicable codes.
Additionally, the allowance of any outdoor storage of flammable or combustible liquids has not been evaluated as part of this approval and remains subject to applicable zoning regulations
and any additional review by the City's Community Development Department.
