Resolution No. 2026-83
Abating a Voluntary Assessment for 2025 Tree Removals
Whereas, assessments were levied on the parcel 25-30-24-22-0021 for a voluntary tree removal
assessment; and
Whereas, the special assessment was paid in full on September 25, 2025, but the assessment was
certified for payments to be collected with the property taxes from 2026 through 2030; and
Whereas, it is in the best interest of the City of Fridley and the property owner to abate the 2026
installments for fund No. 351-8160-421500 and provide reimbursement for the 2026 installments.
Now, therefore be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. The 2026 through 2030 installments for special assessment fund 351-8160-421500, on the
parcel described as PIN 25-30-24-22-0021, in the amount of $9,000 are hereby abated.
2. The overpaid amount, including principal and interest in the amount of $2,336.46 shall be
reimbursed to the property owner.
