Seconded by Christensen. Upon a voice vote, aI1 voting aye, the corrected minutes were approved. 1. REQUEST FOR A LOT SPLIT: L.S. #73-10, BY WILLIAM F. SHARRATT; Split Lot 4, Block 1, Sylvan Hi11s Plat 5, being 201 and 221 Satellite Lane N.E. so City records agree with County records. Mr. William Sharratt was present. Mr. Clark said that about l0 years ago this property was sold to two separate parties. At that time they were told by the'finance department that the Ci:ty could not split the special assessments until there had been a lot split approved by the City. None of the subsec�uent owners ever applied for this 1ot split. Mr. Sharratt bought the building at 201 Satellite Lane about two years ago and doesn't think it is guite fair that all the specials are assessed against his property for both agartment buildings. Mr.'Clark said he agreed with him, but . this was not the fault of the City. . -� Mr. Harris asked if the owner of 221 Satellite Lane was in favor of this lot split. Mr. Clark said he probably wouldn't be, his share of the specials. but he should be paying Mr. Clark questioned if there was enough parking provided on both apar-�ment sites. Mr. Sharratt said they had one garage stall and one parking stall for each�apartment. Mr. Clark said • that was the proper ratio and both buildings would meet the setback requirements after this lot split. Mr. Clark said all the specials had been paid on this property, exe�pt_the storm sewer when Mr. Sharratt obtained this property and this �mounts to $190 per year. f . _ __ _. / _ . _ • � .
