AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 205 OF THE FRIDLEY CITY CODE PERTAINING
TO TEMPORARY OUTDOOR STORAGE CONTAINERS
The City Council of the City of Fridley hereby finds, after review, examination and recommendation of
staff, that the Fridley City Code be hereby amended as follows:
Section l: That Section 205.14.1.B.(10) of the Fridley City Code be hereby amended as follows:
1. USES PERMITTED
B. Accessory Uses
(10) Temporary Outdoor Stora�e Containers are allowed b�permit subject to the followin�
conditions:
(a) The stora�e container shall be located on a paved surface.
(b) The stora�e container shall be screened from view from an�public ri�ht-of-waX,
residence, or park.
(c) Screenin� shall be architecturall.�patible with the main business structure.
(d) The business shall still have adequate parkin� to meet its minimum parkin� requirements
and have safe drive aisle circulation throu�hout their site durin� the time of stora�e
(e) Outdoor stora�e containers may be used onl.�per year for a maximum duration of
ninet.�90) da�
(fl No more than three permits will be issued per year for multi-tenant developments.
(�) The stora�e container shall com�lv with all State Fire and Safety Code re�ulations and
requirements, as well as any other requirements imposed by City Ordinances.
