?he Conncil oP tho City of Fridleg does ordain:
'� S�CTION 1. That the Council firds that it is nacessary to lrnrer the
tirater mains now existing in River N'dge way in order to
prevent furtner and unneceesarg repair and xinter Preezing;
- that there is iimninent danger of fvrther breakdmm with
_ reeulting danger to public health arxi lack oF water for
fire prevention and that there will be a public losa if the
said vrater main is not irmnediately replaced and repaired.
That aceordingly an emergency exiats within the prov3sions
of Seciion 6.06 of the City Charter.
SI�TION 2. That it is deemed necessary, therefore, that the City
contract and purahsse such necessary labor and materi�la
itmnediataly vrithout advertising for bids £or the repair
of the water mains on River A:dge way and obtain the same
by negotiations at the best available price to the City.
