ORDINANCE N0. 257
AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE FOR TNE GONTRACTING AND EXPENDITURE OF
FUNAS FCR THE CLGAR?ING� DEVELOPMF.PIT AND REPAIR OF WELL N0. 1
IN THE CITY OF FRIDLEY
The Council of the City oP Fridley do ordain:
SECTION 1. That the Council £inds that it was necessary to
clean, develop and repair Well No. 1 in the City of Fridley in
order to £urnish an adequate and safe supply o£ water tc water con-
sumers and to sa£eguard the present investment in said Well No. 1;
that accordingly, an emergency did exist within the provisions oF
Section 6.06 of the City Charter.
SECTION 2. That it is deemed necessary that the City o£ Frid-
ley contract and expend £unds for labor and materials for the re-
pair, development and cleani.ng of Well No. 1 on a negotiated basis
without advertising for bids,
ADOPTED THIS 17TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1961t, BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF F'RPDLEY.
