AN ORUINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE uF THE CITY Gr FRIDLEY TO INCREASE
THE AREA SIZE AND THE FIRE-P1� OFING �F 7XiUBLE BUNGALOWS CONSTRUCTED IN
THE CITY OF FRSDLEY, AND TO IMPROVc� THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OCCUPANTS
GF DOtTBLE BUNGALOWS.
The City Council of the City oP Fridley do ordain as followa:
SECTION 1. That the City Code of Fridley be amended to provide
for a Section to be known as 46.028 to read as folloWS:
li6.028. In all double bungalowa there shall be a one-hour
fire wall separation between units, and between separations
of units from communal areas.
SECTION 2. Section 45.31 of the City Code of Fridley shall be
amended as followa:
45.31. MINIMUM FLOOR AREA: Any dwelling in any District,
except any in a dwelling group, as defined herein, shall have
a first floor area of not less than 756 feet, exclusive of
accessory buildinga or an attached garage. In each double
bungalow there shall be at least 756 square feet of floor
area for each two bedroom unit, and if there is a communal
hall with one outside door, this hall shall be a minimum oP
40 square feet each in front and rear entry.
