�ENCY ORDINANCE N0. 281
AN EMERGENCY ORDIN.�+NCE ON THE DRIFT WELL IN THE CITY OF FRIDLEY�

The City Council of the City oP Fridley does ordain:
SECTION 1, 2hat the Council finds that it is necessary to ex-
pend stuns for the emergency use of 41e11 No. 6; that the Consulting
Engineers have advised the Council that such expenditure is nacessary
end must be done on an emergency basis; that there is a danger to pub—
lic health and lack o£ water for public safety� i£ the expenditure is
not made at once for emergency use o£ �•+ell Pdo, 6; that-accordingly an
emergency exists within the provisions of Section 6.06 of the City
Charter. �
SECTION 2, That it is deemed necessary there£orei that the City
contract and pur�hase such necessary labor and material� and enter in—
to such contract as may be necessary witnout advertising £or bids for
the emerger.cy use of Well No. 6� and for a total sum of approxir,iately
$7,2fi9.00.
