The City Council of the City o£ Fridley do ordain as followsc
SECTION 1: That tre City Council £inds that it is necessary to e3cpend
sums not to exceed 4500,000.00 to emX;lo�. labor� riaterials
and other aid to cope with the destruction of property
witnin the City of Fridley resultin�; from the torx:adoes
of Niay 6� 1965.
SECTION 2. That the City Council h�s been in a7most continuous session
since May bth, 1y65, and i:aee had to contract and purcnase
necessar�� labor� equipment and material to protect property
and human life.
SECTION 3: That it is deemed neceasary therefore that the City contraet
without advertising for bids for s.naterial� labor and equip-
ment to cope v�.th the turnado disaster for swns not to
exceed v50G��00,C30.
