AN E�.EHGENCY ORDINANCE TO LET A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
`odr�TF�YtI7AINS .
The City of Fridley does ordain as £ollows:
SECTION l: That the Council finds that certain watermains between 57th
Avenue tdortheast and Rice Creek along and across T.II. Iv`o. 47
need to be lowered or altered to conf�r� ti�rith the requirements
of the highway construction of T.H. rdo. 47•
SECTION 2: That an emergency exists as contemplated by Section 3.06
and Section o.G6 of tne City Ci�arter.
SECTION 3: That it is deemed necessary� therefore� that the City con-
tract £or the necessary labor and r.�aterial irmnediately without
advertising for bids at a cost� includin� engineering, not
to exceed �18�000,00� and obtain contracts by negotiation at
the l�est available price to the City.
SECTION 1�: That this ordinance shall take effect upon pa.ssage.
