AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 88.11 OF THE CITY CODE TO REGULATE THE USE
OF MOTOR DRIVEN SKI OR SLED VEHICLES WITHIN THE CITY OF FRIDLEY. "
The Council of the City of Fridley do ordain as follows;
SECTION 1. Section 88.11 of the Fridley City Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
SECTION 88.11 WINTER-TIME VEHICLES
This chapter shall be construed to include the following
restrictions of Winter-time vehicles such as motor driven
ski or sled vehicles within the City of Fridley;
(a) No person shall operate any such motor vehicLe unless
he has a valid Driver's License or a Minnesota. Learner's
Permit and is accompanied by a person with a valid Driver's
License. Said license requirement is waived when motor
driven ski or sled vehicles are b@ing driven in an area
specifically set aside by the Director of Parks and Recre-
ation for such activity. Said waiver to apply only if the
non-licensed driver is nnder the close supervision of an
adult. A11 such motor driven ski or sLed vehicles shall be
adequately muffled.
(b) No person shall operate any motor driven ski or sled
vehicle before daylight or after 9;00 P.M.
